About
What this is
Real people on camera, being themselves. The moments communities feel but rarely stop for.
Each episode is a long unhurried conversation with one person about their life, their work, and the things they actually think about when nobody is watching.
Why it exists
AVDP started as an artistic experiment. Each episode is set up so the guest is not performing for the camera. Sometimes that is live music, an activity, a studio or the field you are already in, or someone in the room who already knows them. The format is the hypothesis: change what surrounds the conversation, see how people actually talk.
Be on the show
We film long conversations with people in our orbit: friends, artists, neighbors, and people connected to Polarity Lab. Volume I is mostly people we already know. If you think you belong in the field, write us. No pitch deck required.
